Book is in very good condition. Very happy with purchase. Appreciate being able to purchase it used. This book is Stewards of the Land: A Survey of Landscape The photo posted for this book is the wrong photo. This is not a floral design book.
I received "Designs Made Easy," NOT "Stewards of the Land." What a rip-off. Instead of the textbook I was expecting, I got a cheap, badly designed and written book about making mediocre flower arrangements.
I depended on the Amazon rating to determine the condition of this book. It was classified as "like new" and gave in detail what the defects were. When I received the book, it looked perfectly new to me! The only defect was the original owner's signature, for identification. That was easily taken care of with one of my address labels! The bookstore, from which this book was sent, enclosed a friendly letter, stating that all profits from the sale go to funding their local public library. How nice! We both profited, from the sale. I was able to purchase a $75+ reference book for under $40. I have never been disappointed with my purchases from Amazon.com, every book was in better condition than expected.
What an important book this is. It guides us on how to be stewards of the land ourselves. Caring for the land preserving the qualiaty of the land is a very important thing. I use this in my Landscape Design class and not only is it a great help but truly a beautful guide.

This book gives the gardener an excellent overview and specific information on landscape principles and how to use the information. There is also historical as well as current ideas for landscape design.
Got this for a class, lots of good info
I ordered this book twice and called amazon.com once due to being sent the wrong book. As you can see the book is stewards of the land, yet I recieved Designs Made Easy Two times, which I turned in for refunds. I wonder if amazon.com ever got this straightened out?
