Love the series. I just wish the front cover wasn't all bent up when it arrived. Pretty dissapointing.
This remains one of my favorite manga for the beautiful drawings and the gentle storyline. I found I was really invested in the characters and wanted to see them succeed. With this 12th volume, Kasha returns as the main antagonist and I couldn't be happier; he is a complex character and intimately tied with Aoi.Story: The gun that Kasha shot Himari with doesn't kill - but it does separate the soul from the body. As Himari wanders the spirit world, Kasha uses this opportunity to spirit Aoi away. Himari realizes she needs to know Aoi's relationship with Kasha in order to understand why he is tormenting them.As with all the volumes, it starts from a cliffhanger and ends with a cliff hanger. Typically, each volume is a complete arc and it really shows the storytelling mastery of mangaka Shouoto that it is so smoothly planned out. Of course, I am happy to see Kasha's storyline continued but also that many characters have returned to help Himari for this particular arc.We are slowly getting closer and closer to understanding Aoi's complex relationship with the other Ayakashi as well as Himari eventually finding the way to release Aoi from his geas to the Momochi House. I look forward to the next volume! Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.
I absoulaty love Demon Prince of Momochi House I’m so glad and excited I ordered book 13 can’t wait to read it! For anyone who hasn’t heard and or read this amazing series I highly recommend you do it’s so good! Now I have all 13!! Hope more come out soon! I would love if this series was turned into an actual anime show that would be great!!
